I guess this is where I note all my college degrees, my pedigree and how great I am. I’m not. But I love my life.
I’m not the greatest photographer, nor am I a writer, but I enjoy meeting new people and exchanging thoughts and new ideas.
My friends call me a diver – as I tend to dive into things. My background reads like a Tintin comic novel. I was conceived in Kathmandu, Nepal and was shipped to Tokyo, Japan where I spent my youth. Childhood was spent traveling all around the world–Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Taiwan, China…etc., Years in all-girls catholic school made me realize how much I craved freedom and left Japan to obtain some higher schooling and chose Honolulu, Hawaii! After obtaining an undergraduate degree and dabbling with surfing, I migrated to San Francisco, California where I received a graduate degree in Public Relations. I’m still surprised at surviving so many years of higher education. Subsequently, my degrees came to use when I worked in several PR Agencies followed by a whacky desire to help create the first PR department for DHC USA Inc, a subsidiary of DHC Japan (one of the largest skin care companies in Japan).
I have a motorcycle license, and drive a scooter, Tony—we’ve been through two accidents, but I still love riding him. I love cultured pearls and have several strands of Mikimoto (I once wrote to Corporate and pleaded them to feature me in their ads). I love an occasional dinner at a high-end restaurant, but equally crave for a hole-in-the-wall meal as well.
I have a wicked sense of humor and laugh at my not always perfect life. I also like to eat—a lot. To compensate for my high calorie diet, I workout at the gym religiously…or try to.
So that’s my life in a nutshell….If you have something fun and wicked to share—or even just want to drop me a note to say hi—please do so! Life is meant to be enjoyed…so let’s get started!
